How to Join Us
Membership of The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club costs £7.50 for the first year, rising to £15 per year after that.
Membership is for twelve months from the month of joining. It is also open to those who cannot attend meetings.
Non-members can attend meetings as visitors (except the January AGM and any EGMs), paying £3 at the door.
During the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, WROCC is following UK Government guidance and this is having an effect on our activities. Meetings are currently suspended, and we advise members and visitors to keep an eye on the website, newsletter and announcements through email or the usual RISC OS forums for updates.
Members of WROCC receive a number of benefits:
- Members are able to attend our bi-monthly meetings free.
- You get a monthly newsletter (The WROCC) in PDF format, with all the latest news, opinion, and hints and tips.
- We often see products before they are released to the general public.
- You have access to the chat list, where you can discuss anything RISC OS-related (and many things that aren't!). This list is private to members, so is free from the 'noise' you may find on usenet groups.
If you are interested in joining, or would like further information please, contact us. A copy of the club flyer is also available in PDF format, containing the essential information from this website.
A copy of our membership form can be downloaded as a PDF, if you would prefer to complete one and send it in.
Payment by cheque
Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently finding it difficult to process cheques which are posted to us. We ask those wishing to pay subscriptions to contact us for details of how to pay by BACS transfer, and thank you for your understanding.
